# FullControl vs Tracepad

The clearest difference is update cadence: Tracepad at every 3 days against FullControl's every 4 weeks. FullControl's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 4.3) and ratings volume (220 vs 16). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FullControl sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Tracepad sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FullControl holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FullControl has 220 ratings behind it against 16, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 82% of FullControl's written reviews are positive against 69% of Tracepad's.

FullControl ships an update every 4 weeks, Tracepad every 3 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
