# Sooloos vs Devialet

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Devialet at 3.2K against Sooloos's 2. Sooloos's advantage is review sentiment (61% vs 38%) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 16.4). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Devialet holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Devialet has 3.2K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 61% of Sooloos's written reviews are positive against 38% of Devialet's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Sooloos ships an update every 5 months, Devialet every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
