# Sooloos vs BluOS Controller

The clearest difference is rating: BluOS Controller at 4.4 against Sooloos's 4.0. BluOS Controller also leads on ratings volume (5.3K vs 2) and update cadence (monthly vs every 5 months). Sooloos's advantage is review sentiment (61% vs 39%) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

BluOS Controller holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BluOS Controller has 5.3K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 61% of Sooloos's written reviews are positive against 39% of BluOS Controller's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Sooloos ships an update every 5 months, BluOS Controller monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
