# Elevation For Real vs Roav Spectrum

The clearest difference is rating: Roav Spectrum at 4.7 against Elevation For Real's 3.3. Roav Spectrum also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and update cadence (monthly vs every 9 months). Elevation For Real's advantage is review sentiment (86% vs 69%). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Elevation For Real sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Roav Spectrum asks for nothing beyond the download.

Roav Spectrum holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Roav Spectrum has 671 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 86% of Elevation For Real's written reviews are positive against 69% of Roav Spectrum's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Elevation For Real ships an update every 9 months, Roav Spectrum monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
