# Calendar Ortodox vs AiLiber

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: AiLiber at none against Calendar Ortodox's 1. AiLiber also leads on ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (100% vs 82%). Calendar Ortodox's advantage is ratings volume (629 vs 7) and rating (4.9 vs 4.7). On price, update cadence, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Calendar Ortodox sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $14.99 per year. AiLiber asks for nothing beyond the download.

Calendar Ortodox holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Calendar Ortodox has 629 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 82% of Calendar Ortodox's written reviews are positive against 100% of AiLiber's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Calendar Ortodox ships an update monthly, AiLiber every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
