# Hearts Plus vs Hearts HD!

The clearest difference is price: Hearts HD! at Free against Hearts Plus's $2.99. Hearts HD! also leads on ratings volume (10K vs 412) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.0). Hearts Plus's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and chart position (#104 vs unranked). On rating, review sentiment, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Hearts HD! is free to download; Hearts Plus costs $2.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Hearts Plus holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hearts HD! has 10K ratings behind it against 412, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 59% of Hearts Plus's written reviews are positive against 60% of Hearts HD!'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 4 months. Both last shipped on October 27, 2026.
