# Tap Tap Ants vs Ant

The clearest difference is rating: Ant at 4.0 against Tap Tap Ants's 3.5. Ant also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 5) and update cadence (every 4 days vs every 2 months). Tap Tap Ants's advantage is review sentiment (22% vs 0%) and ratings volume (49 vs 2). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tap Tap Ants sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Ant asks for nothing beyond the download.

Ant holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tap Tap Ants has 49 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 22% of Tap Tap Ants's written reviews are positive against 0% of Ant's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
