# iMinesweeper vs Minesweeper

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Minesweeper at 80% against iMinesweeper's 0%. Minesweeper also leads on update cadence (every 3 months vs every 21 months) and ratings volume (71 vs 1). iMinesweeper's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.2) and ads (none vs shown). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

iMinesweeper holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Minesweeper has 71 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
