# DS cam vs Clearly Anywhere

The clearest difference is ratings volume: DS cam at 177 against Clearly Anywhere's 25. DS cam also leads on device support (3 vs 1). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

DS cam holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DS cam has 177 ratings behind it against 25, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 32% of DS cam's written reviews are positive against 36% of Clearly Anywhere's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

DS cam ships an update every 4 months, Clearly Anywhere every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
