# Files vs UClouder

The clearest difference is ads: Files at none against UClouder's shown. Files also leads on ratings volume (13K vs 1). UClouder's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 4 months) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Files sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and UClouder sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

UClouder holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Files has 13K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Files ships an update every 4 months, UClouder every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
