# Files vs DocumentHub

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: DocumentHub at none against Files's 4. DocumentHub also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 4 months) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 26.0). Files's advantage is ratings volume (13K vs 2). On price, rating, ads and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Files sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. DocumentHub asks for nothing beyond the download.

Files holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Files has 13K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Files ships an update every 4 months, DocumentHub every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
