# Files vs Torrentㅤ

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Files at 55% against Torrentㅤ's 0%. Files also leads on rating (4.7 vs 1.0) and ads (none vs shown). Torrentㅤ's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 4 months) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Files sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Torrentㅤ sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
