# EasyMeasure vs Distance Tool

The clearest difference is ads: Distance Tool at none against EasyMeasure's shown. EasyMeasure's advantage is review sentiment (67% vs 58%) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.0). On price, rating, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. EasyMeasure sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Distance Tool sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Distance Tool holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.2. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 6.1K and 2.2K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of EasyMeasure's written reviews are positive against 58% of Distance Tool's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

EasyMeasure ships an update every 3 months, Distance Tool every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 26, 2026.
