# V1 Golf vs proof3

The clearest difference is rating: proof3 at 5.0 against V1 Golf's 4.1. proof3 also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 23) and ads (none vs shown). V1 Golf's advantage is ratings volume (1.8K vs 1) and chart position (#98 vs unranked). On price, update cadence, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. V1 Golf sells 23 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. proof3 asks for nothing beyond the download.

proof3 holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: V1 Golf has 1.8K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
