# V1 Golf vs Stripey

The clearest difference is rating: Stripey at 5.0 against V1 Golf's 4.1. Stripey also leads on ads (none vs shown). V1 Golf's advantage is ratings volume (1.9K vs 1) and chart position (#86 vs unranked). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. V1 Golf sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Stripey sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Stripey holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: V1 Golf has 1.9K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
