# iReadItNow vs DayPlan

The clearest difference is rating: DayPlan at 5.0 against iReadItNow's 4.4. DayPlan also leads on monetization model (free vs freemium) and update cadence (every 3 days vs fortnightly). iReadItNow's advantage is ratings volume (82 vs 1) and iOS requirement (6.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

DayPlan holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: iReadItNow has 82 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

iReadItNow ships an update fortnightly, DayPlan every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
