# ShiftLife Organizer vs Sked

The clearest difference is rating: ShiftLife Organizer at 4.8 against Sked's 3.7. ShiftLife Organizer also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and review sentiment (78% vs 50%). Sked's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.6). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ShiftLife Organizer sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per year and Sked sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ShiftLife Organizer holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ShiftLife Organizer has 1.8K ratings behind it against 164, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 78% of ShiftLife Organizer's written reviews are positive against 50% of Sked's.

ShiftLife Organizer ships an update every 5 weeks, Sked every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 17, 2026.
