# LightBox Lite vs OMAT

The clearest difference is rating: OMAT at 5.0 against LightBox Lite's 3.2. OMAT also leads on update cadence (every 10 days vs every 50 months). LightBox Lite's advantage is ratings volume (5 vs 1) and iOS requirement (5.0 vs 17.2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

OMAT holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LightBox Lite has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

LightBox Lite ships an update every 50 months, OMAT every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
