# 微博 vs Chomog

The clearest difference is rating: Chomog at 3.5 against 微博's 2.3. Chomog also leads on ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). 微博's advantage is ratings volume (7.7K vs 2) and chart position (#118 vs unranked). On price, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 微博 sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Chomog sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Chomog holds the better App Store score, 3.5 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 微博 has 7.7K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

微博 ships an update weekly, Chomog every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
