# Pinochle vs GOPS

Pinochle and GOPS both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of GOPS's written reviews are positive against 54% of Pinochle's. Pinochle's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ratings volume (26K vs 27). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GOPS sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Pinochle asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Pinochle against 4.8 for GOPS. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pinochle has 26K ratings behind it against 27, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 54% of Pinochle's written reviews are positive against 100% of GOPS's.

Pinochle ships an update monthly, GOPS every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
