# Fingerzilla vs Fairy Fire

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Fairy Fire at none against Fingerzilla's 7. Fairy Fire also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and price ($0.99 vs $1.99). Fingerzilla's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 37 months) and review sentiment (63% vs 50%). On ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Fingerzilla costs $1.99 and Fairy Fire $0.99 up front. Fingerzilla sells 7 one-off in-app purchases. Fairy Fire asks for nothing beyond the download.

Fairy Fire holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fingerzilla has 27 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 63% of Fingerzilla's written reviews are positive against 50% of Fairy Fire's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Fingerzilla ships an update every 2 months, Fairy Fire every 37 months. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
