# Calculator + vs Trigonometry Help

The clearest difference is price: Calculator + at Free against Trigonometry Help's $1.99. Calculator + also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs every 13 months) and ratings volume (10K vs 477). Trigonometry Help's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 16.4). On rating, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Calculator + is free to download; Trigonometry Help costs $1.99 up front. Calculator + sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Trigonometry Help sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Calculator + against 4.7 for Trigonometry Help. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Calculator + has 10K ratings behind it against 477, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 85% of Calculator +'s written reviews are positive against 91% of Trigonometry Help's.

Calculator + ships an update every 4 days, Trigonometry Help every 13 months. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and September 28, 2026 respectively.
