# RealVNC Viewer vs CADIO

The clearest difference is review sentiment: RealVNC Viewer at 72% against CADIO's 0%. RealVNC Viewer also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 2) and ads (none vs shown). CADIO's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and update cadence (every 4 weeks vs every 2 months). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CADIO sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. RealVNC Viewer asks for nothing beyond the download.

CADIO holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RealVNC Viewer has 15K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 72% of RealVNC Viewer's written reviews are positive against 0% of CADIO's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

RealVNC Viewer ships an update every 2 months, CADIO every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
