# RealVNC Viewer vs Paperless Forms

The clearest difference is rating: RealVNC Viewer at 4.8 against Paperless Forms's 1.0. RealVNC Viewer also leads on ratings volume (15K vs 2) and device support (3 vs 1). Paperless Forms's advantage is update cadence (every 4 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

RealVNC Viewer holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RealVNC Viewer has 15K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 72% of RealVNC Viewer's written reviews are positive against 75% of Paperless Forms's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

RealVNC Viewer ships an update every 2 months, Paperless Forms every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
