# EagleView vs iRoof

EagleView and iRoof both sit at 4.9 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of iRoof's written reviews are positive against 65% of EagleView's. iRoof also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). EagleView's advantage is ratings volume (9.6K vs 2) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 9 months). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for EagleView against 5.0 for iRoof. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: EagleView has 9.6K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 65% of EagleView's written reviews are positive against 100% of iRoof's.

EagleView ships an update every 2 months, iRoof every 9 months. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and September 25, 2026 respectively.
