# Cinépolis vs Expoceres

The clearest difference is rating: Expoceres at 5.0 against Cinépolis's 1.7. Expoceres also leads on monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 weeks). Cinépolis's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (800 vs 1). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Expoceres holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cinépolis has 800 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Cinépolis ships an update every 3 weeks, Expoceres every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
