# Courtyard vs AccountabilityMe

The clearest difference is rating: AccountabilityMe at 5.0 against Courtyard's 3.0. AccountabilityMe also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 4 months). Courtyard's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and ratings volume (5 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

AccountabilityMe holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Courtyard has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Courtyard ships an update every 4 months, AccountabilityMe every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
