# Zip File Viewer vs Any

The clearest difference is rating: Any at 4.4 against Zip File Viewer's 3.2. Any also leads on update cadence (every 8 days vs every 6 months) and ratings volume (154 vs 5). Zip File Viewer's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 2) and ads (none vs shown). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Any sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.49 per month. Zip File Viewer asks for nothing beyond the download.

Any holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Any has 154 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 47% of Zip File Viewer's written reviews are positive against 20% of Any's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Zip File Viewer ships an update every 6 months, Any every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
