# L'Express vs Nice

The clearest difference is ads: Nice at none against L'Express's shown. Nice also leads on review sentiment (82% vs 69%). L'Express's advantage is update cadence (every 9 days vs every 15 months) and ratings volume (274 vs 25). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. L'Express sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month and Nice sells 13 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

L'Express holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: L'Express has 274 ratings behind it against 25, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 69% of L'Express's written reviews are positive against 82% of Nice's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

L'Express ships an update every 9 days, Nice every 15 months. Both last shipped on October 26, 2026.
