# Tractor Beam vs Bullet Time HD

The clearest difference is price: Bullet Time HD at Free against Tractor Beam's $0.99. Bullet Time HD also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 months) and ratings volume (777 vs 6). Tractor Beam's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.4) and in-app purchases (none vs 9). On ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Bullet Time HD is free to download; Tractor Beam costs $0.99 up front. Bullet Time HD sells 9 one-off in-app purchases. Tractor Beam asks for nothing beyond the download.

Tractor Beam holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bullet Time HD has 777 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 82% of Tractor Beam's written reviews are positive against 92% of Bullet Time HD's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
