# ReefDoser vs Kamoer Remote

The clearest difference is review sentiment: ReefDoser at 54% against Kamoer Remote's 10%. ReefDoser also leads on iOS requirement (10.0 vs 13). Kamoer Remote's advantage is rating (1.5 vs 1.0) and ratings volume (84 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Kamoer Remote holds the better App Store score, 1.5 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Kamoer Remote has 84 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 54% of ReefDoser's written reviews are positive against 10% of Kamoer Remote's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ReefDoser ships an update every 3 months, Kamoer Remote every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
