# ČT24 vs Novinky.cz

ČT24 and Novinky.cz both sit at 4.4 stars, but that hides the real split: 62% of ČT24's written reviews are positive against 44% of Novinky.cz's. ČT24 also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Novinky.cz's advantage is iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, rating, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Novinky.cz holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 130 and 66 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 62% of ČT24's written reviews are positive against 44% of Novinky.cz's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ČT24 ships an update monthly, Novinky.cz every 5 weeks. Both last shipped on November 1, 2026.
