# Diary Books vs Blobby

The clearest difference is update cadence: Diary Books at every 10 days against Blobby's every 3 months. Blobby's advantage is iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Diary Books sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Blobby sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Diary Books ships an update every 10 days, Blobby every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
