# AltiGen MaxMobile vs Mobile Planet

The clearest difference is rating: Mobile Planet at 4.0 against AltiGen MaxMobile's 2.1. Mobile Planet also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (75 vs 8). AltiGen MaxMobile's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 14.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Mobile Planet holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 2.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mobile Planet has 75 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 53% of AltiGen MaxMobile's written reviews are positive against 46% of Mobile Planet's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

AltiGen MaxMobile ships an update every 3 months, Mobile Planet weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
