# Star Saber vs PSW

The clearest difference is review sentiment: PSW at 100% against Star Saber's 36%. Star Saber's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 4.0) and ads (none vs shown). On price, ratings volume, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Star Saber holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 2 and 1 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 36% of Star Saber's written reviews are positive against 100% of PSW's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Star Saber ships an update every 3 weeks, PSW every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
