# SEC Baseball vs Hail State

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Hail State at none against SEC Baseball's 1. SEC Baseball's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (5.6K vs 205). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SEC Baseball sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Hail State asks for nothing beyond the download.

SEC Baseball holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SEC Baseball has 5.6K ratings behind it against 205, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 35% of SEC Baseball's written reviews are positive against 38% of Hail State's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SEC Baseball ships an update fortnightly, Hail State every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
