# Passwords Cloud vs Pass

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Pass at none against Passwords Cloud's 1. Pass also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). Passwords Cloud's advantage is ratings volume (979 vs 1). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Passwords Cloud sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Pass asks for nothing beyond the download.

Pass holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Passwords Cloud has 979 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
