# Passwords Cloud vs NordPass

The clearest difference is update cadence: NordPass at monthly against Passwords Cloud's every 5 months. NordPass also leads on ratings volume (13K vs 988). Passwords Cloud's advantage is review sentiment (65% vs 46%) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Passwords Cloud sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and NordPass sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Passwords Cloud against 4.7 for NordPass. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NordPass has 13K ratings behind it against 988, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 65% of Passwords Cloud's written reviews are positive against 46% of NordPass's.

Passwords Cloud ships an update every 5 months, NordPass monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
