# Passwords Cloud vs PSWD

The clearest difference is review sentiment: PSWD at 97% against Passwords Cloud's 65%. PSWD also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 5 months) and rating (4.9 vs 4.7). Passwords Cloud's advantage is ratings volume (979 vs 153) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Passwords Cloud sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and PSWD sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PSWD holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Passwords Cloud has 979 ratings behind it against 153, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 65% of Passwords Cloud's written reviews are positive against 97% of PSWD's.

Passwords Cloud ships an update every 5 months, PSWD monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
