# Passwords Cloud vs Safe+

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Passwords Cloud at 979 against Safe+'s 4. Safe+'s advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 5 months) and iOS requirement (12.1 vs 15.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Passwords Cloud sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Safe+ sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Passwords Cloud against 4.8 for Safe+. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Passwords Cloud has 979 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Passwords Cloud ships an update every 5 months, Safe+ monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
