# WBRZ.com vs KPLC 7NEWS

The clearest difference is rating: KPLC 7NEWS at 4.5 against WBRZ.com's 3.5. KPLC 7NEWS also leads on ratings volume (6.2K vs 102). WBRZ.com's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

KPLC 7NEWS holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: KPLC 7NEWS has 6.2K ratings behind it against 102, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 18% of WBRZ.com's written reviews are positive against 12% of KPLC 7NEWS's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

WBRZ.com ships an update every 6 weeks, KPLC 7NEWS every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
