# This is Mohammad vs alKoran

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: This is Mohammad at none against alKoran's 4. This is Mohammad also leads on ratings volume (446 vs 7) and rating (4.3 vs 4.1). alKoran's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 84 months) and review sentiment (100% vs 92%). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. alKoran sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. This is Mohammad asks for nothing beyond the download.

This is Mohammad holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: This is Mohammad has 446 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 92% of This is Mohammad's written reviews are positive against 100% of alKoran's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

This is Mohammad ships an update every 84 months, alKoran every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
