# 财新 vs 读创

The clearest difference is rating: 财新 at 4.6 against 读创's 3.0. 财新 also leads on ratings volume (1.2K vs 1) and chart position (#112 vs unranked). 读创's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 16). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 财新 sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. 读创 asks for nothing beyond the download.

财新 holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 财新 has 1.2K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
