# Sync vs Pipe Jewels™

The clearest difference is price: Pipe Jewels™ at Free against Sync's $0.99. Pipe Jewels™ also leads on update cadence (every 4 months vs every 40 months) and ratings volume (1.4K vs 33). Sync's advantage is ads (none vs shown). On rating, review sentiment, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Pipe Jewels™ is free to download; Sync costs $0.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Sync against 4.7 for Pipe Jewels™. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pipe Jewels™ has 1.4K ratings behind it against 33, so its average is the more settled of the two.
