# Mobile Mouse Remote vs Remote App

The clearest difference is ads: Mobile Mouse Remote at none against Remote App's shown. Mobile Mouse Remote also leads on review sentiment (66% vs 33%) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Remote App's advantage is rating (4.0 vs 3.8) and update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mobile Mouse Remote sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Remote App sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Remote App holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mobile Mouse Remote has 78 ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 66% of Mobile Mouse Remote's written reviews are positive against 33% of Remote App's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Mobile Mouse Remote ships an update every 3 months, Remote App every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and September 26, 2026 respectively.
