# Mobile Mouse Remote vs iShake

The clearest difference is ads: Mobile Mouse Remote at none against iShake's shown. Mobile Mouse Remote also leads on review sentiment (66% vs 36%) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). iShake's advantage is update cadence (every 11 days vs every 5 weeks) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 17.0). On price, rating, ratings volume and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mobile Mouse Remote sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and iShake sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

iShake holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.8. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 81 and 99 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 66% of Mobile Mouse Remote's written reviews are positive against 36% of iShake's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Mobile Mouse Remote ships an update every 5 weeks, iShake every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
