# Hebrew Calendar vs Hebrew Keyboard

The clearest difference is monetization model: Hebrew Calendar at freemium against Hebrew Keyboard's subscription. Hebrew Calendar also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs every 21 months) and ratings volume (11K vs 48). Hebrew Keyboard's advantage is ads (none vs shown). On price, rating, review sentiment and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hebrew Calendar sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per month and Hebrew Keyboard sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Hebrew Calendar against 4.9 for Hebrew Keyboard. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hebrew Calendar has 11K ratings behind it against 48, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 82% of Hebrew Calendar's written reviews are positive against 88% of Hebrew Keyboard's.

Hebrew Calendar ships an update every 4 days, Hebrew Keyboard every 21 months. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
