# ArtikPix vs HB Auditory Memory

The clearest difference is price: HB Auditory Memory at Free against ArtikPix's $39.99. HB Auditory Memory also leads on rating (3.6 vs 3.0) and ratings volume (35 vs 2). ArtikPix's advantage is review sentiment (73% vs 64%) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On update cadence, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

HB Auditory Memory is free to download; ArtikPix costs $39.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

HB Auditory Memory holds the better App Store score, 3.6 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: HB Auditory Memory has 35 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 73% of ArtikPix's written reviews are positive against 64% of HB Auditory Memory's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ArtikPix ships an update every 2 months, HB Auditory Memory every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
