# ChargePoint® vs SWTCH

The clearest difference is monetization model: SWTCH at free against ChargePoint®'s free with in-app purchases. SWTCH also leads on rating (4.5 vs 4.3) and review sentiment (26% vs 12%). ChargePoint®'s advantage is ratings volume (19K vs 882) and chart position (#21 vs unranked). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SWTCH holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ChargePoint® has 19K ratings behind it against 882, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 12% of ChargePoint®'s written reviews are positive against 26% of SWTCH's.

ChargePoint® ships an update fortnightly, SWTCH every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 15, 2026.
