vs TimePod

The clearest difference is rating: フリック ファン！ at 4.8 against TimePod's 3.0. also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ratings volume (8 vs 1). TimePod's advantage is review sentiment (77% vs 38%). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TimePod sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. asks for nothing beyond the download.

holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: フリック ファン！ has 8 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 38% of フリック ファン！'s written reviews are positive against 77% of TimePod's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ships an update every 4 months, TimePod every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
